When we think about the American Dream, we do not think about stagnant wages, high credit card debt, the inability to afford health care, unaffordable college tuition, or the extremely high cost of living due to inflation. 

But inflation isn't the only lever that has created our current K-shaped economy. There was a force working behind the scenes, creating a debt cycle that continued to devalue labor and press for efficiency. 

This book discovers that system. Presents it for what it is and helps lay a foundation for the rest of this series. 

The American Dream isn't just a slogan. It is a bellwether, a north star. Our founding fathers had a dream and a vision for the great experiment we call a democratic republic.

We have gotten off course and started following the wrong guiding principles. 

Our government is supposed to uphold these values and vision that makes the American Dream work. 

As such, the government called on corporate America to align with the war effort of World War II. What we saw was the greatest mobilization of productivity in history. A full effort was put toward that alignment. 

Decades later, we see the beginning of the cracking foundation of the American Dream, as corporations began to align with shareholders. Rather than the American Dream. What followed was 5 decades that brought us here. 

This book aims to be a symbol of hope. A presentation of opportunity, and the return to the self-reliant status. That caused our pioneers to push through the vast westward expansion with courage in their hearts, and a vision of the American Dream that was theirs for the taking.
